Spring Thing

Spring is here and I am feeling a little...
vintage!
I started to look around my house and found several new items that look old.
This Spring my thing is the old or vintage feel.
Some of you might not know that I used to work at an antique store when I was in high school and have an appreciation for the old or should I say classic.
I might also inform you that I have an attraction to....
dishes, glass ware, and really anything that helps make a home beautiful and special.
You should have seen me registering when Jake and I were getting married.
I drove him crazy, we had to leave once and come back later.....
all I can say is Jake knew what he was getting in to and he still decided to marry me!
(Thank goodness he did, I couldn't imagine life without him)

These orange juice glasses are little treasures I bought while I worked at Emma's Trunk in Redlands, this store was owned by my Auntie Sue and Uncle Bill, but closed awhile back.
I also pulled out these antique color bowls, they look like Fiesta ware, but are made by Bauer.
These were a wedding present from my Auntie Sue and Uncle Bill.
These bowls are bright and cheery...
they make me happy.

I found these glasses that look like depression glass, but it is Pottery Barn. I couldn't decide on a color so I bought a few in each color. Happy Easter to me!

This bight hand towel is from Crate and Barrel, my mom picked this up for me.
I am loving the bight fun colors, especially orange.
What color or colors are you drawn to?

This spring I have also noticed a new line called Liberty of London
It is a new line at MAC make-up and at Target.
Again, my mom spoiled me, and got me this adorable make-up bag
inside she placed a beautiful eye shadow and blush.
The packaging is even ready for Spring.

Target, can't go to Target and not spend extra money, right?!
Well these little bowls called my name.
We know which sections to not walk by, but yet we still do it anyway.
They are black and white on the outside and yellow on the inside....fun!
They had several other floral prints on cups and plates, but I controlled myself.

These little earrings are truly vintage, they belonged to my husband's grandmother Mary.
My Sister in law, Jenna, thought they looked like me and decided that I should have them...awe, sweet!! They are adorable with the pearls and turquoise..I love them!
They are one of a kind.

What is your Spring thing?
Something old?
Flowery?
Colorful?
New?
I would love to hear it!
