Life is busy...
so here is late post on Easter, but hey, it is worth sharing!
I took a few pre- Easter pictures like I did last year.
Well, I put her in the same spot,
had a few of the same props,
the same blanket,
the same bunny ears,
but I forgot one thing...
I had a different girl!!
She wasn't the little girl who could only sit there,
the girl who was content with playing with the plastic eggs,
or the little girl who would smile at any funny/silly noises that her mommy made behind the camera.
I had a 20 month old beautiful girl who made me work for these pictures.
(I am not complaining just stating my challenge.)
****Sorry if the pictures seem dark, they are in some.***
Here is what I got and some from last year,
She sure has changed and become even more beautiful!
Easter weekend
We had an untraditional Easter,
but I wouldn't change it!!
We celebrated Saturday night with both parents
the In-Laws and the Out-Laws
(If you don't know the Out-Law story....
it is all in fun that we call Jake's family the Out-Laws,
we call them that and they call themselves that now too)
M got spoiled......
(surprise, surprise, being the only grandchild and a girl)
Both families went over board,
it was the Easter of Minnie Mouse.
M loves Minnie...she calls her Ninnie.
She practices saying Ninnie daily because they are on her Huggie diapers.
She will point to her diaper and say Ninnie....
not wiennie...NINNIE!
Here are a few pictures before the battery went out on the 1st camera.
This was just from the In-laws. She received another ton from the Out-laws.
This Donald Duck sang a song, but when you pick him up by the ears he says
"Put me down!!!!! aha aha aha"
M thought that was pretty funny.
We hid a few eggs and inside the plastic eggs were key chains with different characters,
she had fun with TT trying to find them all.
Easter
Sunday morning we were packing for San Diego.
I watched Harvest's service on the internet,
(we were busy, I felt a little guilty, but I still got the message,
we are so fortunate that Jesus died for us!)
Crystal Lewis performed,
she is always amazing!!!!!
We were staying at Jeff and Jenn's for part of Spring Break and wanted to get there as soon as possible.
We had a fun dinner
we made our own pizzas...
far from traditional Easter dining, but much better!
We enjoyed some time at the park,
played a little rock band,
and were in great company!
More pictures of Sun Diego to follow..stay tuned
Really enjoy Easter post; love photos of M!! So cute to see how she was a year ago & now... what a doll. Great Easter gifts too, such a sweet & loved little girl.
